Nona discovered her passion for Oriental brush painting while on a trip to Japan. Oriental art incorporates her love of natural beauty and an interest in the philosophy of the Orient. She has studied private with a master artist in Beijing as well as studying with Ning Yeh in the United States.

With a Bachelor's in Art and a Master's in Art Therapy from Wright State University, Nona has shown her work in juried art shows, Galleries and in private homes.

She is an active teacher, teaching out of her studio in Boyton Beach, Florida.
