The OAS concept of family includes our worldwide network of teachers, customers, suppliers, artists, and art appreciators. We strive to host and nurture a vibrant and joyful community which produces rich, shared life experiences through the exploration of Chinese painting, calligraphy and culture.

The current backbone of our community is our quarterly newsletter which is received by more than 6000 people worldwide. Eventually we would like to have our community large enough that fun, live events are possible with exhibitions, classes, and other group activities.
