Red Star Jen Pei Shuen

The Red Star factory in China has made quite the name and reputation for producing the finest paper for calligraphy and painting. It's become so renown that other paper makers in China have replicated their packaging and symbol to pass off as their own. This single shuen (xuan) is quite sensitive to moisture but produces color quite vividly. Its smooth surface lends itself to experienced artists who enjoy the quick movement of their brush against the paper.
