This Japanese Sumi-e Ink was discovered for its pure description of having more glue with the ink. Therefore, OAS included it in our product line especially for Gong-bi and Fine Line Artists. It not only does it not bleed with first application like others but also, when dry, it does not bleed when additional washes overlap. A Japanese Sumi-e ink. Offers a light scent for those who find they have allergy sensitivities to the soot that is used in ink sticks and bottled ink. This ink has less glue than others and therefore offers a much darker black ink strokes.
